Doritos

The goal of the Doritos site was two-fold. The first, to give them a UK online presence, which they, surprisingly, didn't have.

The second to promote and facilitate a user generated ad campaign.

The campaign itself was great, you shoot your own Doritos ad, upload it to the site then everyone gets to vote. Unusually, the incentives were great too, not only was there a substantial cash prize, but also the chance to see your ad aired primetime during Euro 2008.

Subsequently 800 ads were entered and 330,000 people visited the site.

The site itself was rich, utilising some fairly complex flash techniques, but more importantly, it was fun, easy to use and successful. Always a good thing...
