Barts & the Royal London Hospital
Bold Creative asked me to help with the creation of the new Barts Hospital site.
The idea was to document the experiences of various children visiting the hospital for a variety of reasons. To do this Bold shot a series of films and I, with a lot of help from the fine folk at Orangutan, created a site to house them. The site takes the form of the actual hospital, albeit in an illustrated form, with films being held in departments and viewed on representations of the actual hospital screens. The site has been very well received, winning a health sector award, with a judge commenting 'the website was "an inspiration" to other NHS organisations and that if his child was going to be going into hospital, he would want him to see the website first.'
